How do I renew my certificate(s)?

There are two (2) parts to renewing your certificate(s):

1. Renewal fee(s)
AND
2. CME's (Continuing Medical Education units)

BOTH parts of the renewal process must be completed before any new certificate(s) will be issued.

Each member is also responsible for letting AAMP know of any address or name changes that occur by using our name and address change form

Do I need to renew my certificate(s) each year?

Yes, all certificates must be renewed each year.

What happens if I don't submit my renewal fee by the due date listed on my renewal statement?

If you don't renew your certificate(s) by the due date listed on the renewal statement, you will incur additional late fees.  The late fee is $20.00 (per certificate).  Your new certificate(s) cannot be sent to you until this late fee is paid.

The renewal date is one month earlier than your certificate expiration date.  This was changed due to most employer's requiring an employee to have a valid certificate in order to work.  If a member were to renew within the 30 day window before the official expiration date, they would NOT receive the new, valid certificate before their current one expired.  This was done in order to provide better employment protection for our member's to ensure that if they renew their certificate by the due date, they would receive their new certificate in time.  If you do miss your due date listed on your renewal statement (one month prior to the certificate expiration date) and choose to renew, we will not be able to deliver your new certificate before your old one officially expires.

What happens if I don't renew my certificate(s) by the date it expires?

You will be not be able to legally work using an expired certificate(s)  Also, if your certificate(s) is expired for more than two (2) years, you will have to re-challenge the examination(s).

How can I pay the renewal fee(s) for my certificate(s)?

You may pay your renewal fee(s) for your certificate(s) in one of two ways:

1. By mailing in a check or money order to:
AAMP
6039 Cypress Gardens Blvd #306
Winter Haven, FL 33884

OR

2. You may pay online with a credit card by clicking here

How long after I complete my renewal requirements will it be before I have my new certificate(s)

It takes up to 4 weeks after your renewal fees and CME's are processed for you to have your new certificate(s).

What must I do if my certificate(s) have been expired for more than two (2) years?

In this case, your only option is to bring your certificate(s) current would be re-challenge the examination. Please contact our office at 888-751-5717 to begin the re-testing process.
